The Nature of Our Product
Each item from "Jerami" is hand-made from start to finish. Many traditional "Old World" methods are used in the construction of these unique accent pieces. The individual workmanship may cause slight differences in measurements and finish. This solid wood product constantly responds to it's environment, therefore, the furniture has a subtle distressed look. Some splitting, cracking, chipping and glazing may occur. We, and the vast majority of our customers, think the imperfect nature of the wood and finishing methods create an antique but spirited look that is part of the charm and appeal of the product. Please be aware that these blemishes and imperfections are non-structural in nature and are to be expected. However we are happy to discuss your specific needs and quality requirements and required price point.

Minimum Order
Due to the nature of shipping our minimum order is deemed to be a 20' container. However we do not place limitations on minimal quantities of each individual item.

Orders
For new customers we request a deposit with order and the balance paid once the container is on the water. When the account has been settled then documents will be sent.

Payments
Bank transfer in US dollars.

Trucking , packaging and Shipping
Our prices include single face, recycled cardboard packaging, 96 gram per cubic meter fumigation and trucking, terminal handling and document fees. All shipping from Semarang is the responsibility of the customer, though we are happy to provide assistance if requested.

Ship Times
Our current ship time is approximately 6 weeks from the date of receipt of the order. Some additional time(s) may be required on multiple orders or during peak times etc. We recommend allowing at least 8 weeks from order to shipping.

Shipping Claims
"Jerami" inspects the product upon loading. Upon arrival of product you should always inspect the entire shipment. If you are missing any items, please notify us immediately and file a claim. If any items are damaged then please also make a claim, as soon as possible, along with digital images so we may agree the claim and improve our quality.

Discounts
We offer a Volume Customer Discount based on the volume of orders received in an annual period. In addition we also offer an exchange discount scheme to pass over excess profits on currency fluctuation. Further details can be provided on request.

Warranties
In placing an order, you are accepting all products and merchandise under the terms and conditions written herein, including damaged items. AS IS. Any and all warranties of merchandise, whether expressed or implied, are hereby waived and excluded from any transaction. There are no warranties that extend beyond the description implied in the terms and conditions.

Safety Considerations
Some of our products are sold as "fashion furniture" and are for decorative purposes, only. All steps are sold as plant stands. They are in no way intended for, or can be safely used as, a ladder or stepladder. Several of our smaller accessory items are toys and are for decorative purposes only. These are not to be used for sitting by either children or adults. Many of our dining and accent chairs are not intended for frequent or daily use and are not recommended for adults over 150 pounds ( 70 Kilos ).
